Used tires are a smart play if you need rubber today and a full new set isn't in the budget. The trick is buying from someone who actually inspects them. Not from a Kijiji ad.

- Flat repairs are walk-in. New tires, seasonal swaps and rim work need a booking. New tires are quoted the same day you send the size.
- Turnaround
- Four new tires mounted, road-force balanced and installed: 45 to 75 minutes. Seasonal swaps and flat repairs are same day. Tires that need ordering are usually in and installed within one day.
- Posted prices
- Seasonal swap on rims from $50 (up to 18 inch; larger quoted), swap off rims from $90, flat repair from $30. New tires and rims are quoted same day by size.
- Warranty
- Free 30-day re-torque check on every install, and any vibration caused by the install is fixed on the spot. Used tires carry a 30-day workmanship guarantee.
- New tire brands
- Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Continental, Pirelli, Hankook, Toyo and Nokian, ordered from the manufacturer. Most other major lines can be ordered on request.
- OEM or aftermarket
- Both. Original-equipment tires for the car as it left the factory, or aftermarket lines when a different tire fits the budget or the driving better. The choice is explained before the order goes in.
- Price match
- Rexdale Auto Detailing matches a lower advertised price on the same new tire from another shop. Bring the quote.
- Ordered tires
- Tires not in stock are ordered and usually installed within one day of the order. Quotes come back within the hour.
- Tire storage
- Seasonal tire storage is offered at the shop, so the off-season set stays on Kipling Ave instead of in your garage.
- EV and Tesla tires
- EV-rated and Tesla-specification tires are stocked and installed, with the weight and torque settings those cars need.
- Wheel alignment
- Wheel alignment is done at the shop as part of tire work, so a new set or a seasonal swap can be aligned in the same visit.
- Used tire standard
- Minimum 6/32 inch tread (three times the legal minimum), no sidewall damage, dry rot or bad patches, DOT date under six years. Inventory changes weekly; call for current stock.
- Tires bought elsewhere
- Tires bought at Costco, online or anywhere else are mounted and balanced with the same road-force balance and torque-to-spec install. They can be shipped straight to the shop.
- Winter tires
- Every winter tire installed carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and comes with a receipt accepted for the Ontario winter-tire insurance discount.
- Family-run
- Rexdale Auto Detailing is family-owned and family-run, on Kipling Ave in Etobicoke since 2011. The owner, Rickey, answers the phone, walks the car with you, and signs off on every job.
- Payment
- Debit, credit, tap to pay, cash, and e-transfer are all accepted at the shop.
- While you wait
- There is a seating area at the shop for oil changes, flat repairs, and express detailing. Longer jobs: drop the car off in the morning and pick it up before close.
- Not offered
- No brakes, no mechanical repair, no paint correction, and no ceramic coating. Rexdale Auto Detailing does tires, wheel alignment, oil changes, and detailing, and refers the rest.
